About us

A Yangon company, built for Yangon

GOOD CHOICE (Good Choice Innovation) is a Myanmar technology company based in North Okkalapa, Yangon. We started as GOOD CHOICE Taxi, and grew with hundreds of local drivers into a super-app for rides, deliveries, shopping and maps.

We build our own technology — from the apps to our own Yangon map server — so we can make it work the way Myanmar people actually live: in Myanmar, with cash or mobile pay, and with a real person to help when you need one.

Good to know

Where do I get the app? I have an iPhone.

Android: Google Play. iPhone: open app.gc-city.com in Safari and tap Share → Add to Home Screen. It works like an app; the App Store version is coming.

How is the fare worked out?

You see the price in the app before you book. With GC Car you see a range, and the final fare follows the car that accepts. Pilgrimage, moving and tickets get a written quote first.

How do I pay?

Pay the driver in cash, or send it straight to the driver's KBZPay, WavePay or AYA Pay. The driver's number is shown on your trip card.

My SMS code doesn't arrive.

Some networks delay messages. Tap “Ask Gogo” on the sign-in screen and our staff will help, or call 09 444 820 075. After the first sign-in you can set a PIN and skip SMS.

I left something in the car.

Open the trip in your history to contact the driver, or ask Gogo “I lost something” — we'll help you get it back.

Is GC Map really free?

Yes. Search, routes, bus info and voice navigation are free at map.gc-city.com, with no account needed. Adding your business is free too.

How do I become a driver?

Install the driver app (or open driver.gc-city.com), sign in with your phone and upload your licence, ID and car photos. Our team checks them and you can start driving once approved.

Is my personal information safe?

We collect only what we need to run the service and never sell it. Drivers see your number only during a trip. Read our privacy policy.
