How Good Choice collects, uses, and protects personal data.

This privacy policy applies to the Good Choice rider app, driver app, and public website, including the privacy policy URL submitted to Google Play.

Information we collect

We may collect account details, phone numbers, trip activity, support messages, device identifiers, payment-related records, and driver onboarding documents when you use Good Choice services.

  • Precise location data from riders may be used to set pickup and dropoff points, show nearby drivers, support live trip tracking, and improve route accuracy.
  • Precise and background location data from drivers may be used while drivers are online, navigating to pickup, or completing trips so dispatch, navigation, safety monitoring, and trip status updates work correctly.
  • Emergency or support flows may include your current location when you choose to contact support during an active trip.

Why we use the data

Good Choice uses personal data to operate transportation services, verify accounts, maintain safety, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

  • To match riders with drivers and manage bookings.
  • To power map, navigation, ETA, and trip progress features.
  • To review driver applications, documents, and account status.
  • To investigate incidents, enforce platform rules, and protect users.

When we share information

We share data only as needed to operate the service, not for unrelated sale of personal data.

  • Rider and driver trip information, including relevant trip locations, is shared between the rider, assigned driver, and Good Choice operations team during a booking.
  • Service providers such as mapping, notifications, hosting, analytics, or customer support vendors may process limited data on our behalf under service agreements.
  • We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the public.

Retention and security

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet operational requirements, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable law. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information.

Your choices

You can manage app permissions from your device settings. If you disable location access, some features such as trip matching, live navigation, and driver online status may not work properly.
